Rachamankha Hotel is located within the old city walls of Chiang Mai, a city with a rich culture and heritage which dates back over 700 years to the Lanna period: Chiang Mais golden age. The hotel has been designed to reflect the architecture of this period; as evident in the thick, lime washed walls and wide tiered roofs. A Chinese influence can be seen in the hotels courtyards, which lead one from the bustling city streets to the privacy, peace and serenity of the guest areas.
Guests of this truly unique hotel can enjoy the aesthetic pleasures of Lanna art and Chinese antiquities which furnish every guest room, and are used extensively throughout the hotel. Rare objects from the owners private collection silverware, weapons, ceramic, Buddha images and laquerware collected from the region are on display in a gallery, located above the restaurant. Rachamankha is the ideal place to stay when exploring Northern Thailands rich culture and heritage. The combination of regional art, interior design flair, and the temple style architecture combine to create a special ambience conducive to rest and relaxation.
